Hello everybody!
I am Yelda. Granddaughter “the third generation” of a family producing tarhana in Usak, Turkey. A fermented traditional Anatolian soup. After graduating with an Architectural bachelor’s degree in Istanbul, I started with my Master’s involved in environment, climate and sustainability issues at Edinburgh Napier University. All these experiences, having the chance to live abroad, environmental issues so on, encourage me to keep up with the family business since the manufacturing process is nearly zero carbon, and whole products are natural. Moreover local! I have been running the first branch of the family’s shop out of my hometown, located in Istanbul, Baghdad Street for the last 4 years. In the times ahead, I feel I have enough knowledge, courage and of course support from my beloved family to continue with my brand YeldaNatural.
